As the year 2020 is drawing to an end, so is ECOPRODIGI consortium’s work on eco-efficient maritime industry. However, before we write up our final reports and move on to new challenges, we are delighted to invite all maritime industry professionals, digitalisation enthusiasts and clean shipping advocates to our final event which takes place online on Wednesday, the 2nd of December 2020 at 9.30-13.30 (CET).
The event “Harnessing Digitalisation for the Benefit of Maritime Industry” focuses especially on the benefits digital tools and solutions can offer for industry end-users. Findings from ECOPRODIGI’s industry cases on digital performance monitoring, optimisation of cargo stowage and shipyard processes will be presented as concrete examples of how digital technologies can be utilised and what kind of advantages they can provide e.g. in terms of:
- reductions in fuel consumption and emissions
- improved utilisation of assets and resources
- more efficient processes and better productivity
- training solutions
The opening keynote speaker of the event is Mr. Lars Jensen (CEO, SeaIntelligence Consulting) who will discuss the topic “Digitalisation of maritime industry – through the pandemic and beyond”
